When I first saw it, I couldn't imagine (realistically) how in the world they got that sucker up there. Eventually I researched it. I forget where I read the details, but essentially there is a trail on the other side of the mountain which is fairly long but not cliff-steep. Funny part is that the statue isn't that old!
